Indicates whether the customer already has a Cash Credit, Overdraft, or Demand Loan Overdraft facility. It supports exposure review, working-capital assessment, and conduct analysis.
This field checks whether the customer is already using a CC, OD, or DLOD facility with the bank or another lender. In MSME underwriting, existing working-capital facilities are important because they reveal sanctioned limits, utilisation, repayment behaviour, drawing-power discipline, and dependence on short-term finance. For example, a borrower seeking a new term loan while heavily utilising an existing cash-credit limit may require closer liquidity review. The field also helps identify balance-transfer, enhancement, or takeover cases. It matters because existing limits affect total exposure and repayment capacity. The common caution is to verify the facility from sanction letters, bank statements, bureau records, and account conduct rather than relying only on borrower declaration.
