Date on which the borrower last used, disbursed, or drew funds from an approved facility. It helps track utilisation, dormancy, validity, and monitoring triggers.
Last Drawdown Date records the most recent date on which the borrower drew funds or used the sanctioned facility. In MSME lending, this is useful for understanding utilisation behaviour, project implementation, working-capital usage, and whether the facility is active or dormant. For example, a term loan sanctioned for machinery purchase may have staggered drawdowns linked to invoices and installation progress. If the last drawdown is old, the lender may need to review whether the remaining limit is still required or whether validity has expired. This date matters for monitoring, renewal, limit cancellation, and audit trail. The common caution is to distinguish drawdown date from sanction date, disbursement approval date, value date, and repayment date.
