Monthly repayment or charge amount payable toward EMI, interest, or commission depending on facility type. It supports cash-flow assessment, repayment planning, and customer communication.
Monthly EMI, Interest, or Commission captures the regular monthly amount the borrower is expected to pay for a facility. For term loans, it may be EMI; for working-capital limits, it may be monthly interest; for non-fund-based facilities, it may include commission. In MSME underwriting, this amount helps assess whether projected cash flows can comfortably absorb financing cost. For example, a borrower with seasonal income may struggle with fixed monthly EMI even if annual income looks adequate. This field matters for DSCR, affordability, repayment scheduling, and customer communication. The common caution is to calculate it using correct rate, tenure, repayment frequency, moratorium, commission basis, and existing obligations rather than relying on rough estimates.
